Is it important with high resolution on a gamer lap top?

I am going to buy a gamer lap top, and I am wondering if 1920×1080 is a minimum to satisfy my requirements for a satisfying gaming experience. Or will it work fine with lower resolutions?

Should I get a Laptop or Notebook computer?

This Christmas Im suppose to getting a new laptop Ive been researching. I found one but its a notebook computer. I want to know which is best. I’ll be going to college in 2 years and this is the laptop/notebook that I should be using for my studies. Which is better I know notebooks dont have cd roms but I can buy an external CD rom. Can anyone tell from experience which they would perfer? I defintely dont want to pick the notebook and regret it.

Is it Possible To Play a downloaded version of Spore On a Notebook Computer?

Well I was bummed out when I found out that a notebook computer can’t play discs, but my favorite game Spore has a downloadable version on Amazon. The thing is a notebook computer has a small screen(and might have a significantly smaller CPU or RAM, but i’m not worried about those factors). I’m just making sure that I don’t waste 20$. My computer is a Windows 7 Starter.

I want to do some gaming on the computer but my computer sucks for it? Can you guys give me any good suggestions for a good cheap computers i could buy for like maybe £200 – £300. The sort of games i want to play are like world of warcraft, starcraft, call of duty, battlefield bad company, medal of honour. I want to play games of this quality and at a good speed and frame rate…. Any Suggestions?

Say unsecure connection. Do I need to do something on the main computer or on the lap top to make it a secure connection?
it is a belkin router. I have my comp and xbox hooked up to it and Im trying to get the wirless set up.

If so, how much? I am looking for at least 4 gb of memory, least 500 gb… A lot of computers have amd processors, than intel, and will it be worth the money? I am thinking hp brand or dell… walmart is a good store to go to, right?
